I am Amaka, a professional website designer and website care specialist. I help businesses, startups, online stores, schools, and busy agencies build and maintain high-performance websites that command trust and drive revenue.

Where it all started

I Don’t Just Build Websites. I Build Businesses.

My journey into the digital space began in April 2019, when I launched my very first blog. Managing that platform taught me my first critical business lesson: a beautiful website is completely useless if nobody can find it.

That realization drove me deep into learning how to make websites show up on Google, how to build them properly on WordPress, and how to structure them so visitors take action. I didn’t want to just build pretty pages that sit online; I wanted to build high-performance platforms that actually help businesses bring in real inquiries.

Over the years, my experience expanded from launching digital products and publishing wellness guides to executing high-stakes corporate training, such as onboarding over 80 legal professionals on complex digital portals. Today, through Sites by Amaka, I use that exact mix of design eye and technical skills to give small and growing businesses an elite digital presence.

After that first blog, I kept going. I built more websites. I sold blogs. I learned how Google actually ranks pages, not from a course, but from testing things myself and watching what worked and what didn't.

Then came the work that really shaped everything. I spent years designing, managing and maintaining over 150+ WordPress websites for a digital agency. Not just designing them, managing them. Keeping them secure. Updating them. Backing them up. Watching what happened when maintenance was done properly and what happened when it wasn't.

That experience gave me something most web designers don't have, a ground-level understanding of what it actually takes to keep a website healthy and performing long after launch. I've seen websites get hacked because one plugin wasn't updated. I've watched businesses lose everything because there was no backup in place.
